I guess we'll start with the budding question on everyones mind when they read this offering...What is Macro Photography? Macro photography is photography showcasing a subject larger than it is in real life. This has limitless applications; the buds in the centre of a flower, the tiny little hairs on the back of a bee... Macro Photography is the practice of seeing the beauty in the simplicity of any subject matter.
Within this photography course you will be given the opportunity to use professional grade cameras, leading digital software and take a moment to notice the smallest beauties in life. As a photographer I am often reminded of one of my favourite quotes by Anne Frank, "Think go all the beauty still left around you and be happy." That is how I view Macro Photography and I hope to gift that small little grace to anyone willing to listen.
At the end of the course we will have edited 5 amazing photos of your creation, one of which we will frame in studio, and you'll leave with a remarkable profound love of the simplest beauties in life.
